"Soft Power" mini album is a creative collaboration between Sestrica (music) and Dasha K aka Paristexas (photography).

The main idea of this work is the often forgotten aspect of true power/strength - its ability to be soft, calm and patient.

Night Violet, Sedna, Salacia, Mira, Emma - each song is about this kind of power in its own way. You can read more details about inspiration in the description under each song separately.

Once I had all the music done I came to Dasha with a collection of significant objects that I naturally collected over time. Basically we just had fun making different combinations of my and her objects and Dasha took photos of the combinations that felt most beautiful to us.

I was driving in taxi when Dasha send me the 5 shots we liked the most. I put on the the album in headphones and stared at photos for some time, intuitively choosing which picture represents which song. That was a beautiful moment for me to see and feel how music became more meaningful and powerful when supported by photography. You can purchase these prints in the merch section, they are stunning.
